Enjoying the Panorama..

Last saturday as usual we are in Melaka n for breakfast we had nasi lemak bungkus, Half boiled eggs, Roti Kawin, kopi O n Teh C-- Melaka kopi-tiam style..I simply love the nasi lemak Tanjung there..

We had breakfast at the food court near Putra Specialist Centre...where my children enjoyed the River Cruise boats passing by..the weather was fantastic too.I love the CNY wind.

That was also when i got Zila's sms asking for the ice tray..U really made my day Zila..

My most memorable Raya

This raya has been the most memorable one coz having just joined the tupperware biz i was as eager as a beaver to test out my market of relatives and friends.

Armed with my newly-bought goflex, my prized possession so far and a boxful of tupperwares we went for house visiting as usual to my aunt's house. Wah sibuk betul hari tu jadi jurucakap tupperware..

Pastu gi rumah sepupu plak..dalam sibuk mempromosikan tupperware x sempat la nak merasa rendang favourite masakan sepupu i...takpe takpe goflex to the rescue...The flat as a paper container now turned into a useful bowl once being pressed upward..lega sikit selepas dapat tapau at least tak lah kempunan nak tunggu raya tahun depan baru dpt merasa rendang che lin..

Thank u lah to Che Lin sebab buy goflex..She has always been supportive of me and always there when i needed her like the time when i needed a tukang urut during my confinement.She went all out to find me an expert tukang urut..Thanx for everything Che Lin!!

Back to my rendang story...since it was already midnight when we got back to my in-laws house, we kept the rendang in the fridge for tomorrow's lunch.

The next day, after all had been settled (breakfast n all),we went back for lunch and as i eagerly hoped for my rendang on the table, the excitement turned to disappointment...(I felt like crying...) as all that was left was just bits and pieces of the rendang..It seems that my father-in-law has the same taste as i do and we both agree that Che Lin's rendang is the best..until I have the chance to taste it again next year, that is....haha.

This is my beautiful niece. Isn't she a picture of perfection.She was born on Merdeka Day. Her name is Nur Khayyirah Umairah and weigh a mere 2.65kg at birth.

How my love affair with tupperware resumes....

But as i entered school, college, pursued my degree, fell in love...tupperware became the second last thing on a teenager's mind you know what i mean..that is until now, married with three wonderful children later, tupperwares crept up my mind again..

I wanted to present my mother with something special.. that was when i saw the catalog and thought the square round gift set would be perfect for my mother and BOOM! that was when the tupperware luv bug bite me.

As in the catalog was the Valentine tumblers. I am a sucker for tumblers..gish!;-)

And that was how my love affair with tupperware resumes till now as it looks like my one-year-old precious baby girl loves to play *masak2* with my tupperware collections. looks like it runs in the family:)

Tupperware in my eyes...

I guess that's how my interest in tupperware started..as a child i view tupperware as something exclusive with beautiful designs and in lots of shapes and sizes. Now i know all those shapes and sizes has its purposes for example freezermates are meant to store processed foods or meat in freezer so it will lasts longer and modular crisper with grids keeps vegetables fresher at a longer period and so does fridge smart rectangular keeps my chillies fresh even after a month as opposed to normal containers...

As far as i can remember...

When i was young, we used to have this shape sorter from tupperware.My mother bought it for me and my siblings and we sure have lots of fun with it. I, for one was attracted to its bright colours and as i had to babysit my brother and sister while my mom was away at work, this one toy proved to be lots of fun as it helps me to teach my younger siblings colours and shapes and hand co-ordination as they put the shapes into place..boy this toy sure brought back a lot of memories.
